I spent years watching professionals with extraordinary expertise get sidelined in budget conversations. Not because they were wrong. Because they couldn't put a number on what they knew. They had the instinct, the experience, the depth. What they didn't have was the language.

That language exists. Finance has always spoken it. Sales speaks it. HR — despite sitting at the centre of every organisation's most consequential decisions — was still translating people into headcount, not P&L lines.

That is a product problem. So I built the product.

The first version was a single HR tool. A PMS simulator that let HR professionals actually run a performance cycle before they were in one. It worked. People kept coming back not because it was a course they finished — but because performance management kept being hard, on a schedule nobody warned them about.

From that first tool grew a philosophy: every people decision has a financial dimension. Virorah is the software that surfaces it.
